Here's a story of a girl.. No.. Not the song. A story about me. Well.. Short story because I don't want to bore the hell out of you guys.
I graduated in 2007. Being the biggest girl out of my friends was difficult. They all wore short skirt, tank tops, I hid in baggy clothes and never showed skin. Everyone moved away or got knocked up and I locked myself away. 2008 rolls around and I finally go to college, granted I was only financially able to stay for 1 year because both mom and financial adviser f*cked me over but that's another story.
I wanted to come out of my shell.. Wear a few pieces of tighter clothing, sometimes.. -too- tight. I made some new friends, I was enjoying life. Then we went on a small cruise on Lake Superior. Horror struck me after a certain picture was taken and I never wore tight clothing again. Every other body picture of me was in jeans and sweatshirts after this. I had managed to balloon up to over 200 pounds. YIKES! Being only 5'3 that is pretty bad for my poor frame. Then again I have never even been really skinny. Hell, I wasn't even in the 150's my HS years. I managed to drop down to about 188 by the end of the school year. Going home I went to 192.
It wasn't till I came home from Canada this past June, when a certain loved one kept making comments about my weight, yet kept stuffing rich fatty foods in my face. I had hit 198. 200 was right around the corner and there was no way I was going to feel that horrible about myself again. I managed to hit 192 again after coming home. It was time to make a change.
So today, I went searching for the picture that made me cringe. I had to dig deep in my facebook profile to find it. So here it is.

You're looking great! We all have pictures we're embarrassed by (I've even removed a lot of my tags on facebook due to that very reason). It looks like you are doing a great job getting slim the healthy way. Awesome job and kudos to you!0
