    Are you weighing and recording your food?

    I ask this because when I was obese, I had it in my fuzzy head that I could go for a three mile walk, and it would negate the half container of Breyers ice cream or the family sized pack of Oreos I’d eat when I got home.

    I honestly believed that, and was frustrated I was putting on weight.

    It wasn’t til I started recording what I ate and synced a fitness tracker to MFP that the lightbulb clicked. That taught me the “cost” of calories and how very hard it was to work them off. My walk didn’t even burn off a single serving of ice cream- much less five or six.


    That was when things clicked for me, and I started making better choices and shed the weight.
