Bit stuck: am I eating enough AND exercising enough?

Hey,
I burn approx. 300-350 calories a day (only been doing it for 5 days) and consume 1200 calories, but the net is 900. Is it still enough?
Also, would burning 300 calories 5x a week be enough to lose a pound a week?
Thanks :)

You need to net 1200 calories a day, at the very minimum. So you need to be eating back your exercise calories. If you let MFP set your caloric intake, the deficit you need is already figured into the calorie allotment to allow for the weight loss you inputted.

No - you are not eating enough. Look up the term skinny fat. You do not want to burn off fat & muscle - just the fat.
