I don't know why I would do that, if I'm not sick, and I have the calories available.

I don't do intermittent fasting (because I would find it unpleasant, and have found it unnecessary for weight management/health).

Unless I'm sick or have already eaten all my calories for the day . . . why?

Fast weight loss is IMO a dumb strategy, unhealthy, short-sighted.

I need the energy and nutrition from my food. I'm gonna eat.

There's a great tip I read recently, add healthy. Like, don't punish yourself just because you've made a bad choice, just make the next one good. But you're going to feel like crap if you skip dinner.

Funny you should ask! In fact, I have almost never completely skipped dinner. The closest I come is on a fasting day (for medical or personal purposes). Even then, I usually have juice or clear broth.

But: I skipped breakfast this morning completely by mistake. I got up, made my tea, and started working on some tax-related accounting. It is a bit anxiety provoking, and I worked on it until I needed to go to work, at which point I made my lunch and ran out the door. I didn't realize that I had skipped breakfast until I was sitting at my desk at work! It actually hasn't left me any more hungry than on other days, so I guess I don't really need to eat breakfast every day, even though I almost always do.

No! Would not be able too! Spend a lot of my day thinking about my next meal…missing out on dinner would be heart breaking! 😬

Strange question! I never skip dinner. Sometimes I don’t eat a “breakfast” until lunchtime and then only eat two main meals but I eat according to the calories I have for the week. It’s important to stay satiated throughout the day so you don’t want to eat everything in sight because you get so hungry, at least that’s how it is for me.

I don't eat breakfast because my stomach doesn't like food that early in the day ... but I rarely skip dinner!! The only times I've skipped dinner have been because I'm ill or had dental work.
