You can definitely lose a lot of weight by then. What is happening in January?0

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to lose 2.5lbs a week as long as you are relentless in your calorie counting and do plenty of exercise. Best of luck to you!0

Hi,
My trainer tells me that a 1-2 lb a week loss is a healthy way to lose weight. So, yes it can be done. You will need to make sure you are journaling all food that goes into your mouth and if you keep track on here you will be able to see what you are eating and what you need to cut back on. My goal is 30-35 lbs. in 3 months. Make sure you take before pictures and also measure yourself. That shows the real loss. Good luck. If you want to friend me you can- we can exchange ideas.0 -
It's my 22nd Birthday and besides that i'm just really ready to lose this weight i put on after having my daughter who is getting ready to be 2 yrs old. Do you have any advice? I mean i work out twice a day doing kick boxing and taebo and i make sure all my numbers stay in the green .0

I was so overweight that I lost 13 # in 10 days.... thing is do the calorie counting and the exercise and don't short change your body...it need protein and carbs! My diary is public so feel free to look, 68# since 3/11.0

Its very possible I lost 50lbs in 3 months before with strict calorie counting (unfortunately I gained a lot back) but if you're strict you can definitely do it in 4 months. Good luck0

To me the easiest way is to drink protein shakes you can't beat 20 grams of protein with a drink. Whey protein is the best (in my opinion)0

Thankyou it really does i love the encouragement. I chase my little girl soon to be (2yrs) all day plus excerciseing she even tries to join in. I am really determined. thankx again.0

So is it best to always consume all your PROTEIN everyday or is it okay to have some unused? What kind of shakes would you recommend like ensure r maybe weight watcher's r kellogs Shakes?0

Those are pretty good but I get mine from gnc or the vitamin shoppe, it really depends on what your trying to do, if you are trying to do a mostly plant based diet then protein shakes is the way to go. They have shakes that are not from animals. If you're just trying to eat healthy, then try to throw some fish or chicken breast in your diet and toy should be fine.0

Sorry that I can't remember the name of the shakes but if you go to any of those places the people there are very helpful0

At your young age it is certainly doable. Biggest thing I can tell you is to drink only water. If you drink anything other than water make sure it has no calories (black decaf coffee). For each caffinated beverage you drink, make sure you drink twice that ammount of water. Get at least 1 oz to 1/2 oz of water per pounds you weigh. Also, exercise; whether you walk with/chase your child, do exercises, whatever; it all counts! And, as she sees you eating healthy and exercising, she will follow suit; it will become a lifestyle for her at an early age! A win/win situation! Make sure that you say things to her like "we are making healthy choices" and also let yourself (and her) have a little cheat now and then. This website is EXCELLENT as far as making it easy to keep up with how much protein, carbs, and calories you have left each day! Also, Dr. Oz said the other day on his show that it is best to make sure you have any starchy carbs (bread, oats, corn, potatoes, etc) in by lunch time, as it gives you the rest of the day to burn them off. Salads, fruit, green/orange/yellow/leafy veggies are all good past that, plus your protein, of course! Go on his website; all sorts of tips and recipies and low cal substitutes and such! I am 43 and trying to loose around 150 pounds; this would have been so much easier to do at your age! Keep up the good work; you will not only look better, but feel better and have more energy; which we all know you need as a mom of a 2 year old, you really need!! Also, one more tip; low fat or fat free PLAIN, GREEK yogurt (not vanilla; it has added sugar.)is excellent! sweeten with honey and fruit, and makes a great breakfast, lunch, or snack. Greek yougurt has TWICE the protein of regular yougurt!0
