Health and wellness beginnings

Hello everyone! I’ve been on and off this app for many years now but I’d like to take this seriously. When it comes to having a busy lifestyle how do you all stay consistent?

    If you love what you do you are more likely to make time. If you focus on being fit and healthy, then even if you don’t get time to exercise you are doing something with your diet. You can then continue with your exercise when you can. However, if it’s about losing X amount of lbs then it’s easy to get busy and feel too far behind

    Making time to be healthy has always been the no 1 reason why I never got myself started before... the key is wanting to make that time a priority in your life

    If you're trying to find the time, it probably will never happen or happen only for a short period. You have to make the time which often means forgoing something else. Today is Friday and it's been a very long and busy week and I would like nothing more than to just go home and relax a bit but Friday evening is one of my gym nights where I have some time to fit it in...so I'll be in the weight room this evening. During the week I'm busy at work and then busy bussing my kids around to soccer practice, basketball practice, games, etc...I typically get up early in the morning to go for a walk and usually take another short walk at lunch (about 30 min). Weekends roll around and I make time to get out on my bike for a bit, even if that means not sleeping in on a Saturday or Sunday and going out early because I have other things going on during the day. You just do it if it's important.
