I have been using this app on my phone for a while, but lately i have not been good at keeping up with everything. i was doing great for a while, but i have lost track of my goals. Im pushing myself to get back on top of my weightloss. Having people push me to do my best has always been a great help.

  • It's a daily struggle...I fell off the wagon for a while, and put on a few pounds, but I'm back. I've realized that keeping track of my calories, etc. helps a lot.

    me too, for awhile i was loosing and regaining the same five-eight pounds ...so frustrating...lets keep eachother motivated!!!! good luck!!!

    Sometimes we get busy and lose track. When I feel like I'm falling off the wagon(so to speak), I use my bracelet trick to keep me on track. I have bangle bracelets in black, gold and silver. In the morning, I put 5 of each color on my right wrist. Black represents water, Gold represents Veggies, and Silver represents Fruit. So if I have an apple, I will move a gold bangle to my left wrist. The goal is to move all from right to left wrist. It kind of reminds me as I hear them jingle that I need to keep track. It also works for me if I can't log in right away or away for a period of time. You can customize it to whatever you want but it helps me sometimes to stay motivated!

    PS - I bought my bangles cheaply but can certainly be a good excuse to go shopping!

    I'm really bad about consistently logging in, but now that I've been here for a while I'm starting to feel accountable to my mfp friends who consistently cheer me on. I have used the phone app, as well, but I've found that going on the site, keeping up with my friends and letting them support me, has helped me the most. I always want to know how they're doing so I log on, and well, I might as well log my food in to.... Add me if you would like. We can support each other because we CAN do this!!

    I am new as well. As soon as I got my smart phone I joined and loved the logging.

    It was great to see the progress but summer is over here and with the fall I am back on board :)

    I hope being on a message board motivates me more than doing it alone
