After three months and losing nearly two stone i have lost my way and put it all (and some more) back on again. The up side to it i guess is that i know i can do it but i have just not gone and done it.

My lifestyle has become to easy and i dont do as much as i used to and eat more junk food than before.

How did i get so bad, how did i allow myself to get this way.........?

I've been there. Twice. It's a huge thing to overcome, the sheer disappointment in yourself. But it can be done. Last summer, when I started, I read something that helped me. "This time next year, you will be glad you started today." It was hard to visualize a year from now, but now that the one year mark has come and gone, I'm so glad I did.

I had to figure out how I failed and how not to repeat the failure. I tell myself I will not gain this weight back ever again. Even if I hit a plateau and don't lose for a while, I will not gain it back.

  • Wow! sounds very familiar! I finally had to decide to get serious about my health, and that is what changed my habits. I can't stick to anything until that something clicks inside me and it is time to get serious. For the most part I have changed the way I look at eating It also affected my exercise habits.

I started do physical activity I really enjoy, cycling and martial arts. It makes my workouts fun, and at the samr time challenges me to keep improving.

I eat very healthy now. I have changed my meal frequencies to 5-6 times a day and choose foods that are not processed. I do not eat white starchy foods either(white rice, white pasta, white potatoes or breads). Stick to foods that are whole(no non-fat). I have seen a huge difference in how I look and feel.

Anyway, hope this helps. I know you can do it if I am able to.
