bodymedia fit and logging food

Hi all,
I just started using my bodymedia fit and as many people have said the food database sucks. How are people coping with this? If I track all day here on MFP I don't see how I can put the total number of calories into bodymedia fit? Can I?
I would appreciate any input on how people are making this work!
Thanks everyone!
Susan

I keep my food tracking here at MFP. On the BodyMedia site, you can click on the Nutrition menu then Daily Estimate. I copy over my calories total every day or every other day.0

I log my total MFP calories/nutrients breakdown on BMF as one meal. I chose PM Snack for the one I enter it into each day. Just either click the link that says to log foods under the calories consumed breakdown or go to the nutrition tab. Then click on create food. At that point you can just enter the whole day there. The only hitch is that you can't enter more than 100% of Calcium in one food item, so that's the max you can ever enter for a day. I call mine "MM/DD Food" and chose "serving" as my unit of entry.0

This is the same process I used.0 -
Same here daily estimate. So much easier. And i'm not sure if my browser got updated or the site but now I can enter them from my phone (through the website not app). So days when I can't get at the computer I can still track and develop a report to see how I am doing on average!!0

That's exactly what I do. The food database over there sucks and I can't be bothered to put all the food in there.0 -
Bump.
So I can remember to do this tomorrow because I agree the BMF food log data base sucks.0
