Hey everyone!!

I'm looking to find a new work out video that will give me some cardio as well as strength training. I have a bad knee so anything that requires me to do a lot of lunges (some are okay) or activities that are on the knees a lot are hard for me to do. I have done the 30 DS, 6week6pack and No More Trouble Zones from Jillian Michaels. I have P90X but I haven't tried it yet. I've heard that's good as well. I'm trying to focus on my wobbly arms and my stomach right now. Those are the two biggest problem areas that need to catch up with the rest of me lol. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you know a lot about strength training go ahead and add me so I can get some help from you as I go along.

I have access to a gym for free, but I don't really have anyone that could go with me to do any weights. I have 3lb and 5lb weights here at home that I use in any work out video that requires it. I am just worried about having too much access skin on my triceps area/armpits and around my belly. I don't want saggy boobs!!!!!!!!!! :-(

Thanks to anyone that is willing to help!!!
Becki :-)

I don't know if you have tried Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred, but it is a combination of strength, cardio, and abs. The workouts are only 25 minutes long and they use small hand weights in the exercises. I noticed a ton of tone up in my upper body from doing those workouts for just a couple of weeks! Good luck!

Well, as I stated in my first comment I already did the 30Day Shred. I need to keep my body doing different things. But thanks for you encouragement!

For strength training, I'm doing New Rules of Lifting for Women. I'm really enjoying it since it gives you a nice program to work with. When I started, I was very new to lifting weights and couldn't afford a personal trainer, so it's been great. And if you have access to a gym, you should have everything you need, although you could do it from home with some adjustments.

For cardio - I usually do the elliiptical or DVDs (and running when I feel like it). My current favorite DVD is Cathe's Intensity DVD. I also really like The Firm Advanced Cardio Blast. If those are too advanced for now, there are others by the Firm I really like (step workouts) if you're interested, just PM me and I'll go find the titles. You can go to collagevideo.com to look for more dvds. The site gives you a preview of all DVDs and tons of reviews. Here's a link to the Cathe one I mentioned above:

My knees used to give me lots of trouble - then I started taking glucosomine. I don't know if that's what did it or not (I imagine it was partially due to weight loss), but I NEVER have knee pain anymore.

    Good luck!!
