Does anyone want to join me on the Meatless Monday and 30 days of Self Confidence? Here's Some INFO :

Going meatless once a week may reduce your risk of chronic preventable conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity. It can also help reduce your carbon footprint and save precious resources like fresh water and fossil fuel.

Also:

Decided that this might help some people! I saw this online and thought it'd be an awesome idea! Enjoy ( also if you want to, invite your friends! The more the better ):

Welcome to the 30 Days of Self-Love!
Take a few moments to quietly reflect on confidence and recognize what you have to offer. You have something! Focus on that throughout the day. Whenever you feel down, remember who YOU are and what you have to be proud of. Don’t negate it!
What do you have to be confident about? Proclaim it...and don’t forget that affirmation!

Examples of such affirmations:
I love myself deeply and unconditionally.

“I am beautiful, warm-hearted and intelligent.”

I approve of myself and so does God.

I live in the present and my future is exceedingly bright.

“Self-confidence is what I thrive on. Nothing is impossible and life is great.”

My personality radiates with confidence—I am courageous, bold, and sociable.

“I now command my subconscious mind to immediately replace all old negative self-talk and negative self-images with powerful new positive thoughts and new positive empowering self-images.”

I attract the most positive people and I am always at the right place at the right time.

I not a quitter—I am unstoppable and persistent in everything I do.

So want to join me? For your health, self esteem, and to save the planet? Do you have the dedication???

Very interesting about the 'Meatless Mondays'. My Mom's SO had cancer and their highly regarded specialist told him to stop eating meat. Said he didn't need it and cancer feeds on it. Recommended fish a couple of times a week. And her SO is now in full remission and has done so well the doctor wrote a paper on him! So eating less meat seems like it would be a great lifestyle change :drinker:

I have actually started doing this a few weeks ago and it was reccommended from my friend who is a cancer survivor! She is fully vegan now but started off on Mondays just by going meatless! It was reccommended by her doctor!

I become a vegetarian over the summer (I feel much better for it). I'd like to join in too, but do Vegan Mondays if that's okay.

Can I join? I have been trying to go meatless on Mondays, and I always seem to buy some meat that needs cooking on Monday, or run out of time at lunch and pop in a meaty tv dinner or leftovers.

This week I prepared. I have my recipes ready and I got some provisions from the tofu stand at the farmers market.
