Full english breakfast: calories?

Does anyone have experience logging a classic British fried breakfast?
Currently traveling in the UK and I'm clueless ๐Ÿ˜€

Estimates for the components and/or totality are welcome, if anyone can help ๐Ÿ™‚

    Log everything individually
    2 slice Bacon
    1 link Sausage
    1 Egg
    Beans - 2 oz?
    Bella Mushrooms ? 2oz?
    Blood sausage 2oz?

    Etc.

guesstimate the weight of the food items as best you can.

Probably going to try that, but the bacon is different to the bacon I'm used to, as is the sausage. Going to have to Google some UK supermarket brands, I guess, and check their nutritional info ๐Ÿ™‚

Google says a typical full English breakfast is 800-1000 calories which seems about right to me from my experiences visiting the UK...though your picture looks smaller than anything I was served at the various Bed and Breakfasts we stayed in.

What's the yellow triangle that looks like corn bread at roughly 4 o'clock on the plate?

I usually come up with ~1200 by the time I add buttered toast and a second egg. :)

Looks like a hash brown to me.

You can buy packets of frozen ready to cook ones that look like that.

I'm english so used to these - that one I'd eyeball at around 900 calories, but I'd log at least 1000 calories for a full english as things are often cooked in a lot more oil than you'd think. We have calories on a lot of menus now and breakfasts are usually around the 1000 to 1200 mark although often a bit bigger than the one you've posted.

That is indeed a hash brown, and it is a life changing food group.

Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering where the potatoes were.
