Disney-obsessed not-so-new re-newbie, but if you're a theme park nerd, please add me!

Hi everyone! I've been on and off of here since around 2011 and now I'm back and on a different path since I started Wegovy a couple of weeks ago and all the friends I had hadn't logged on in years so if anyone wants to send a friend request to my weird self, I'd appreciate it.

I'm a big Disney nerd and we try to get to Disney World at least once a year, but Universal was a different story the last time I went. I could only fit on some of the rides and that was so disheartening that it kicked my butt back into gear again and the goal is to be able to ride every single rollercoaster and then to fit on an airplane in 2025 to go to Disneyland Paris.

If being a Disney fan wasn't enough, it's also literally my job. I don't work for Disney directly, but the company I work for covers Disney and Universal content daily so my life is literally surrounded by Disney fans and I think I'm at the point where I don't know how to talk about much else, but I'm trying!

I love theme parks in general, but currently, I'm at a point where I don't think I'd fit on any of the rides at Six Flags or Cedar Point, but I'm adding them to my bucket list of post-weight-loss trips!

I'm not sharing my diary because I don't particularly appreciate getting yelled at. Am I keeping it around the macros MyFitnessPal set? Yes. Does that mean that everything on there is healthy? Absolutely not. The last time I was here someone judged me for eating M&Ms so we're just going to keep that private because I can still lose weight and have some treats now and then. :D

More about me: I live in the Florida panhandle. I have been married for almost four years and we have three dogs, a Jack Russell Terrier, a beagle mix that was a rescue, and a Cane Corso that is my CHILD. (We don't have kids)

Your goal is so much fun. I love theme parks! I get motion sick on the spinning rides now (boo!) but I'm good on roller coasters. I don't get seasick either, so I guess it's just spinning?

My husband and I also don't have kids but have had cats for all of our marriage and those are like our furry children.

Have you ever tried a ReliefBand? One of my co-workers says her dad gets motion sickness and can ride things again since he bought one of those. They're pricey though, like $280, but sometimes they run sales. There's also one you can get that's an AppleWatch band. From what I can tell it works like a tens unit to prevent nausea.

I used to have cats! I was 100% ONLY a cat person, but then I met my husband and he was a dog person so we've always only had dogs because he says he doesn't think a cat will love him like a dog would, haha. I told him he just hasn't met the right cat. Any animal will can be affectionate.

That's a great idea! I can definitely check out a ReliefBand.

My husband is a dog person and grew up with dogs. We kind of got adopted by a stray cat and that's how it all started. The one cat seemed lonely so we got another. Then the first passed on so we had to get another as company for the second, etc. We still might get a dog at some point, too. I agree that any animal can be affectionate.
