You don't need to weigh yourself everyday. You need to open the app, click diary and log the food you eat. Log before you eat, so you can decide whether the food is worth it. For example is that ounce of chips really worth 200 calories to you today or would you rather eat 3 oz of baby carrots for 35 calories? As you log, you will see that some foods give you more bang for your buck (more filling for the number of calories). This will lead you to healthier choices.
Start slow, just log your food, don't worry too much about macros until you make the logging a habit.
Once logging is a habit and you start making healthier choices, you can start focusing more on macros. Then, that will become habit.1
