Looking for Autistic pals

Last year (Jan) my constant fatigue, chronic pain and brain fog were labelled with Fibromyalgia. Although throughout decades the symptoms were always there, "everything was ok" in every visit to the Doctors. Then two years ago my Highest weight ever was reached, 96Kg.
During a very toxic employment experience, my anxiety and depression reached record lows to the point that my body shut down completely. My GP referred me to a Diagnostics team for Autism and ADHD. The assessments were this year in January, and to my shock, as I never considered the possibility before, turns out I am very much autistic.
This gave me some relief and loads of understanding and compassion towards my mind and body. And I feel like I am finally able to tackle a healthy lifestyle, in baby steps.
So initially I got a "Beyond Body" book, which doesn't work for me because the ingredients list is not very budget friendly for my situation. Not so much about the type and price of ingredients to get, but because I don't see a practical and effective waste avoidance (example: get feta cheese but you use only 1 tablespoon and have no plan for the rest, which will eventually go bad). Also, recipes are for 1 exact portion and you can't cook more and take for lunch on the next day. I was cooking every single individual meal and ended up spending most of my free time cooking for the next day so I could take my food to the office. So it also doesn't fit with full-time work schedules, in my experience (Oven bakes for afternoon snack....).
I wanted to record my progress with Beyond Body, so I installed the app and soon realised that I wasn't on a calorie deficit. Maybe the science adds up in the long run, but due to my work schedule and access to small quantities of perishables, it simply isn't viable for me.
But I like My fitness pal and want to stick to it. Now the main issue I am facing is knowing what to eat and when. Oh I also started the NHS couch to 5k programme and that is pretty much all the physical activity I have in a day! It also is an entire process in itself, as I forget to breathe and my running style is "limbs everywhere except forward"...
There is so much information out there, I get that, and that there isn't a question I may ask that could be answered by Google or even AI bots. But it's very easy for me to become easily overwhelmed and I would like to have some "Pals" as well, maybe to learn from real cases, real experiences, but also for the accountability factor, which seems to work well. 😃
