36-24-36?

Options
Okay those are NOT my measurements!

My question is, what are? If I say I'm 36-34-46, it makes me sound like a total pear-shape, but over-the-cups measures 40".

Do you include you boobs in this measurement syzygy or is it just underwire?

I'm definitely hourglass and 40-34-46 more accurately reflects my shape. But does that make it sound like I have enormous ribs?

Helpasistaout!

Your chest measurement is (or should be) the same as the band measurement on your bra.

*smacks head* I've been doing this wrong all the time....

*sigh* Um... is it your natural waist or 'where the jeans fit' waist?

Maybe I'm doing it all wrong.

actually, lol, if you're measuring for your bra you would indeed measure your ribcage where your bra band would sit. but when a man, or socciety, talks about measurements ie 36-24-36 they mean the measurement of your breasts at their fullest. so over the nips. in fact, if you tell a guy your bra is 36 B for example, most of them think the 36 is the fullest measurement. unless they have had a girlfriend/wife who took them lingerie shopping. all they know about cup size is that bigger is better. (as a total generalization of course, every man is different. a lot of them do think that more than a handful is a waste)

Fullest part of your bust, natural waist (smallest part), fullest part of your hips/bums

Others have said this before, but this comment is succinct, so I'll quote you.

This makes the most sense. That makes me 40-34-46 for now. I wonder if my waist will ever be under 30". I can only hope (and have a good diet and exercise, of course! hahahhah).

    Thx everyone!

just read something interesting in a book last night. a woman with those measurements would have size 4 hips, size 2 waist and a size 10 top. lopsided anyone?
