Yes, unless you're something like 80 years old, 4 feet (30.5 cm) tall, 75 pounds (34kg) body weight, and completely sedentary.

You're courting weight loss failure (unsustainable) and bad health consequences. Don't. Be smarter.

Yep. Unless you're on a doctor prescribed VLCD and being monitored (because health issues can arise), there's no reason to only consume that much in a day. Well again unless you're built like Ann says.

You risk your long term health. There is nothing wrong with slow weight loss.

There's no context here, so it's difficult to say. If someone is morbidly obese and has many of the health related issues and is under a doctors supervision then yes, an 800 calories diet can be very effective for a multitude of reasons. Otherwise I certainly don't support the notion at all. Cheers.

It would be very bad for me.
I would be very tired, unable to do the activities I normally do. Both general running about at work and the exercise. Difficulty concentrating.
I would be very grumpy with everyone.
Eventually I would crack and would eat everything I could get hold off, which would end up being far more than if I'd just eaten reasonably in the first place.

That would happen in the first few days. Longer term there would be health problems. Bodies need fuel to repair and recover. Personally I'm interested in strength and resilience. Think carefully about what you are trying to achieve.

The only people who should follow these diets are under the care of medical staff as it get extremely difficult to address your nutritional needs.
