Fitbit and Horseback riding

I’ve checked the Fitbit groups and have not been able to find an answer to my question.

Would anyone know the work around with Fitbit while riding horses so it doesn’t count your horses steps? I thought you could over ride it by putting in on driving mode but when I tried that it still didn’t sync correctly when I added in the back in horseback riding as my exercise .

    Is horseback riding one of the recognized fitbit exercises? If so, I'd say start that when you ride. Otherwise, maybe take your watch off when you ride.
    I am sometimes entertained by what fitbit thinks I'm doing :)
