Units for MFP nutrient tracking? Especially calcium?

Trying to track my calcium intake for medical reasons (physician-supervised cleanse).
I've noticed that MFP advises 100 "units" of calcium. When I set my food profile to track calcium, it shows a "g" (as in grams) below the calcium column.
However, that makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. Daily recommended intake of calcium for me (35 yo man) is 1,000 mg: https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Calcium-HealthProfessional/ Which translates into 1 gram.
Not 100.
Could someone clarify what unit of measurement is MFP actually using? Thanks!
EDIT: here's what I'm seeing that makes NO SENSE.

I reported this issue in another thread on September 12, and repeating the information here.
The MFP tracking units for Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, and Iron are percent Daily Value, which are consistent with the US FDA Nutrition Facts Labeling Guidelines and are based on a 2000 daily caloric diet.
I believe the mobile apps correctly label the tracking units for Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Calcium, and Iron as %.
MFP software developers have incorrectly labeled those tracking units as "g" as shown in the below annotated screen capture, instead of a "%" symbol.
MPF, could you please fix this? @Nova Could you please acknowledge if this is a known issue?

The FDA’s RDA for calcium is 1300mg. The “100” in MFP is a percentage of that number.0
