  • It's all mental...anything that you lose is great! Depends on how much you want to lose. I think you should celebrate every pound. I've lost 20lbs in 5 weeks and I can't really tell but other people can. It's because we look at ourselves everyday and until we see a drastic change we still look the same. It's will get easier! But, your lose is great nonetheless.

It is a hard thing to get past , i am in the same boat . I have lost 17 lbs and i still dont see it all i see is what i havent lost . I guess it all just takes time . I am taking pictures every 5-10 lbs so i can line them all up and see the difference so we will see if that helps :) keep your head up and know that one day you will look in the mirror and see the person you want to see
  • The photos is a great idea, will have to give it a try. Thank you x

to be brutely honest you will probably not be able to tell so soon. i did not notice a difference until i was at least at 15 lbs gone and i still did nit start getting comments about people noticing until i was at about 20-25. i am very overweight so...my experience may differ but do not let this get to you.....you are doing it for you; not others and will feel great. what you have accomplished is awesome in 2 weeks! best of luck to you!
  • Thank you karo.

I used to play football at a high level and was on a very strict diet regime, cut a long story short i broke my foot 3 times and the first time it was diagnosed for 3 years, so i was never back upto my full fitness. After sitting around doing nothing i looked in the mirror one day and couldnt believe the weight id put on. I have started playing again now but lower leagues and its making me realise i took it too seriously back then, i dont need to be as thin as a rake like i was then but I always keep comparing my body to how it use to be. I guess when you see the pounds you have lost on the scales you want to see the results too..

Take pictures. I never see the progress I've made when I look in the mirror. When I look at old pictures and new pictures, though, the differences shine out. When you reach your goal, it becomes something to keep you there and motivate you to just keep getting better - knowing and seeing pure evidence of how far you've come. Photo proof, baby!
