I just have a quick question. I used to go to Curves about 4 years ago. Since I live in Indiana the weather is starting to change and I have been walking and running for my exercise. I thought I might join Curves again to do in the winter when it is too cold out or bad weather conditions to walk or run. Just wanted to know if anyone has any good advice about Curves.

I think Curves is great for women who are obese, older and don't want to workout in front of men.
I went there for 5 years. I started 155 then down to 141 and back up to 172. I joined Gold's Gym
in Feb and lost 6 pounds in one month, thats more that I ever did at Curves.
I would try to find a different gym, that way you can increase strength and have the options of varying
    up your workout.

Honestly, you will get more out of a regular gym.

I used to go to Curves but their hours are so limited! 7 am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm not open early enough to go before work or late enough to go in the evening. I go to the YMCA now, they are open 5am to 10pm. You can take classeslike yoga, pilates, Zumba, kickboxing etc., use the track, water exercise, rock climbing wall, use machines or the weight room. They also have daycare onsite for people with young kids. I have lost more weight and converted to more muscle than I ever did at Curves. I don't think 30 minutes 3x a week is enough exercise for me, I do at least an hour 3X a week. Good luck with your journey!
