I just started low carb this week. I have done weight watchers for 10 years. So I am looking for low carb recipes and just food ideas. Thanks

    If you like egg rolls, you can try the Egg Roll in a Bowl. It's basically the inside of an egg roll. It's not only low carb but it can also be low calorie, depending on how it's made.

    We've made two different variations of this. If you look up "Egg Roll in a Bowl," you'll find a ton of recipes to choose from which can suit your tastes.

    Stuffed bell peppers are also easy to make in a slow cooker and they're easy to reheat for lunches.

    For breakfast .. sauté your choice of veggies and top it with a fried or poached egg.

    Cambodian beef lok lak is my favourite low carb meal. Skip the optional rice and have the optional fried egg on top. This recipe is similar to the one I learned on a cooking class while on vacation in Cambodia. You can make it with chicken or shrimp too.

    Better go for low carb or carb cycling, extremely low carb on rest days, eat lot of fibers and fresh veggies. Replace simple carb with complex carbs, eat 1.2 x Body weight in Kg equivalent grams of protein. stay away from alcohol, processed foods, sugar & high sodium food.
