I'm doing the 30 Day Shred and I was wondering what I should put is as in the exercise log. I looked and there is no '30 Day Shred' exercise. Is there a comparable exercise in there I can use? For all three levels?

Hi! I looked it up online cuz I do it as well and its about 250 calories burned for 29 mins. I just put it under cardio cuz it just shows cals anyways...love that dvd! Have you tried the "ripped in 30"? thats a good one of hers too

circuit training. A Heart Rate Monitor is a more accurate measurement. But I'm broke, so I log it in as circuit training.

yes, log it under 20 minutes of circuit training general... i have a HR monitor and its quite accurate.
  • I was going to kick-start my workout with this one and then perhaps supplement it with the ripped DVD if I hit a plateau. I like her style and it fits my schedule perfectly.
  • Hey! Huge Jillian fan over here! I've started 30DS as well. I've logged it under circuit training, but I can tell you that the general circuit training is not a great count for calorie burn on MFP. I finally got my heart rate monitor up and running. I'm betting Vemma is not far off on the calculation she's come across. Good luck!!! If you are looking for accurate readings, I would get a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. They aren't too uncomfortable and you can get them at a pretty reasonable price.
