Connect Garmin to count steps

Hello,
I think I connected my Garmin Connect account successfully, but for some reason, the steps are not synched into myfitnesspal. Does this work for anyone?

  Hi there
  What I have found is if I havnt synced my watch to the actual Garmin Connect app before opening MFP then they my steps wont show 😃 Hope it’s as simple as this.
