Found this app after being told I must lose 25 pounds in two months to be able to have my left knee replaced. I am in a lot of pain and can't walk far, so I'm anxious to get it done.
This app sets realistic values of foods I can eat to reach my goal.

I had a similar experience a few years ago when I was told that I could not receive treatment for the cancer I'd been diagnosed with unless I lost at least 50 pounds. Being denied medical treatment is an intense motivator. I actually lost 70 pounds in 6 months, and another 5 before my surgery. Keep logging, and keep yourself accountable, and you'll be ready for your surgery in no time!

You can do it! Just keep reminding yourself that your long-term overall health is more important than the temporary satisfaction you get from any high-calorie snack.0
