Cutting your food?

Do you feel more satisfied when your sandwich is cut in two before you eat it? Or if your apple is sliced vs whole?

I do, and this was a habit I had when I was young and thin. The sandwich always had to be cut in half before I could eat it.

yes. it makes me feel like there is more food when it is cut up in pieces.

and I prefer diagonally sliced sandwiches. (making it into two triangles, rather than two rectangles)

  • Actually yes, I tend to eat slower and I feel like there is more food on my plate. I take my time to chew everything more when it's in pieces. But then again, I tend to rip my foods apart as I eat them anyway, some way or another. Like bagels (which I don't eat anymore), I rip them into small pieces. No idea why haha.

Ha me and my buddies just had this conversation ...sliced and sliced the reason for me is it allows me to choose not to eat the other half.

hahaha...definitely like this. When I eat the lean cuisine panini's I always leave them open faced because then I get 2 pieces and feel like I'm eating more!
