Hi Everyone,

Just have to say I think this is such a wonderful website for anyone who is going through a weight loss. What a fantastic support system for anyone who wants to get healthy! So I just started last week. My goal is to lose 60 lbs. I started losing weight back in 2010 and I've lost over 100 lbs! Unfortunately after that 100 lb mark, I lost focus and this summer, I gained back about 15. So I only have 60 lbs left and I'm really trying to recommit myself and refocus on this last BIG leg of my weight loss marathon I've been running.

I so look forward to looking at everyone's posts and encouraging others as well as receiving encouragement. Good luck and tons of love:heart:

Much luck to you on your journey!!!!
  • Congrats on recommitting. I lost my focus after losing 44 lbs and now I'm recommitting myself as of this morning. I have been bouncing back and forth between the same 3 lbs for the past 2 weeks and I just want to see that scale move again in the RIGHT direction! =)
  • Congrats on losing the weight so far! You have made it so far already and that is an inspiration to us all. Don't let negative thoughts on the 15 lbs get you down. The important thing is that you caught it and are working at finishing your goal. You can add me as a friend if you would like!

I am in the same boat. I lost 60 pounds at one point, lost focus, and ultimately gained 40 of it back.
  • I lost about 125 lbs back in 2009. I got pregnant and had a baby in April 2010. I GAINEd 80 lbs with that pregnancy! My highest ever! (i have 7 children) It was very discouraging !! VERY! I am working on the baby weight now and its been 18 months and I have hit 59 lbs gone so i still have 21 more to go to hit my lowest weight. I had to refocus too... It was so much easier to lose the weight the first time. Once you lose that bulk its kind of like the urgency is gone and its hard to get the wheels churning again. But keep up your work. Remember what worked for you before and try to get back int he grove again!
