I'm New to this

I need to stay on track and log my food. I am new to Myfitnesspal. I need to lose at least 40 pounds and I'm over 60 so losing weight is tougher. I just need a community that will be supportive! Thank you!

    i'm 66, and i haven't found it any tougher to lose weight than when i was younger, so hopefully it won't be as difficult as you anticipate.

    I lost 50-some pounds at age 59-60 (while severely hypothyroid, though properly medicated), and have kept it off since (now 67). I found it surprisingly simpler and more doable than I'd expected, though not psychologically easy every second, of course. Now I wish I'd done it years earlier, because the quality of life benefits have been very, very worth that effort for me.

    Hi Im 40 never been this overweight and never found it as hard to lose weight! Im hoping tracking cals and having supportive likeminded people will help.
