When did MFP start charging to scan food barcodes? It seems this is an upgrade now.

    It changed last year, in October I think.

    I just logged in for the first time in a while, and noticed there is no more free bar code scanning. This was one of the things I liked most about MyfitnessPal. I won't be using the app any more now that they are charging for it.

    I was surprised too. I've been away for awhile and am disappointed the scan feature is a paid option now. Not good for those on a fixed income. I'll be looking for another app with a free scan feature. ☹️
