I am looking for some suggestions on good meal replacement protein shakes. I plan to use them while at work and then eat a good healthy meal at home each night. I need one with low sugar, low carb and high protein. Not slimfast. Something more complex and healthy. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I use myprotein. Great selection of flavours . As well as using them as a shake they mix well into a yogurt and give you a great pudding . Best I have tasted as they not grainy and work out very reasonable0

Protein shakes aren't really suitable meal replacements...they are a protein supplement and typically have very little in the way of other nutrients.0 -
Look at something like Boost or Ensure. They are full meal replacement drinks often used/prescribed medically. They have a variety of different formulae so look for one that fills your needs.
Don’t use a protein drink for meal replacement, you will be missing a whole load of nutrients. They are for supplemental use.
Cheers, h.

To be honest, most real meal replacement shakes are going to be on par with slimfast. They're not real food... they're shakes. They're all made with powdered, processed ingredients. Which is fine... you would just need to maybe change your thinking. Meal replacement shakes are for convenience, not necessarily so much for health, and most will contain a decent mix of carbs, proteins and fats.0 -

Sollyn has a point here. You mention wanting "complex and healthy": Making your own smoothies would be closer to that than any of the commercial meal replacement drinks I've seen, which tend to be heavy on highly-processed ingredients.
If you want to consider DIY meal drinks, there are some recipes here:

For some of those, you could pre-mix part of the ingredients, and add the more perishable ingredients right before blending.
Lots of recipes on Pinterest or to be found via web search, though some in a general search may be less vetted for nutrition than MFP's suggestions.
To be clear, some of the commercial products do shoot for a reasonable overall nutritional profile, and I think they can be fine to use as part of an overall healthy way of eating, if they suit you, i.e., you find them filling and convenient, plus an aid to meeting your overall nutritional goals. Very often, though, they're almost the definition of "highly processed foods", just more nutrient dense ones than some other "highly processed foods".
