hi I was just wondering if anyone new how to add breastfeeding to you daily caloric intake on your profile????

Just look "breastfeeding" up in the food database. There are plenty of options, you should find one that suits you!0

There really needs to be a "sticky" on this.... I see this question on the forums at least a couple times per week. It's the first thing I looked for when I was new on here too. :-)0

I'm fully breastfeeding right now, so what I did was just entered everything in for my weight loss as if I wasn't nursing. From the research I did online you burn anywhere from 200-600 calories (in a full day) by nursing but it's recommended that you take in an extra 300 calories a day. So I just add an extra 300 calories as excercise everyday (with my profile still being set to lose weight and not just maintain a weight). My milk supply is still good so you shouldn't have any issues, just make sure you drink plenty of water, take your prenatal vitamins if you still have them and get plenty of milk or milk by-products.0
