No exercise today.... Maybe walking if I feel better :( My throat hurts so freaking bad! :( Lymph nodes all swollen... Any easy exercises in mind?

    Yes. Make yourself some homemade chicken soup! Then dip a spoon into a bowl filled with the stuff, and lift it to your lips. Repeat about 32 times! :flowerforyou:

  • Instead of exercising, you should maybe consider seeing your doctor. Sounds like you may have Strep Throat. Otherwise try gurgling some warm salt water. Definitely take the day off for exercise though. Good Luck.

    Lots of abdominal and back stretches you can do while just laying on the floor... check out videos on youtube
  • Try resting, maybe do some stretching and slow, tense moves "tai-chi" style.

    I thought something may be wrong on Saturday as I wasn't very well at the gym, Sunday morning I went back and had to come home, spent the afternoon on the sofa watching TV with a cold :o(

    Best bet is to rest, take plenty of vitamins and don't push it, your body needs the energy and nutrients to fight the illness, not exercise. Plus your exercise will be half-hearted and not really worth doing.
  • Me, too. Similar...sore throat, stuffed nose. I walked this morning to the store to get some medicene and felt okay afterwards. Oh, it is cool, windy and rainy outside. Helen might have right idea.
