I really really really have to do this now! no more yo-yo dieting!
I've set myfitnesspal as my homepage and have the mobile app where ever I go! I just really need to stay motivated, i don't know how people do it!
I've restarted today after a weekend of terribly bad choices. So day 1 is nearly over with, and i've managed to keep under my goal... I just hope that i can last this time. I tend to eat when i'm bored or unhappy, which is rather common, but my size is really getting me down and affecting relationships etc.
I've been reading through the forum and theres lots of supportive people out there so thank you for your inspiration.
Anyway good luck to everyone and fingers crossed this time is the last time i start to lose weight :)

Hey! Congrats on restarting again- I am doing the exact same thing. Sometimes that is the hardest part... I also am a big "yoyo" dieter and really need to finally STICK to my goal long-term. Lets keep each other pumped up!

    We can do this thing.

    :)

I'm so glad there are people on here in the same boat I am in. I recently lost 9lbs and then had a health scare and gained half of it back. I would love to lose 15lbs but I have NEVER stuck with anything before. Good luck to everyone out there.

No restarting after this. Just stick with it. Log every bite, every workout and MEET your calorie goals not fall below them.

I recently reached my goals and I've switched to maintain (that in itself is an experiment--how to stay my goal weight and not start gaining while eating more to maintain rather than lose).

The best advice I can give is to eat cleanly and eat every 2-3 hours. Pre-log any workouts so that you can spread those healthy extra calories around.

    Good luck!

I've made some bad choices the last few days too. But maybe a different perspective may help... I am not starting over, I am continuing on my journey. Some days I get off track but it's all part of my journey to be healthy. Alot of how we percieve things is about forgiveness of ourselves. We beat ourselves up and get so discouraged. But lately, I've taken another approach... I am NOT perfect. I'm just a woman who has a goal and although I struggle I will not stop fighting for me.

I'm sending you positive, healthy thoughts. Pick up where you left off and roll forward like a freight train. You can do this! Add me if you'd like.

thanks for all your support everyone! :)

i'm sad to admit that after posting that i fell off the wagon because i'd cooked dinner for the hubby which turned out to be too much food and I spent ages on it and didn't want to throw it away so i ate what was left! oops

But, now my cupboards are de-junked and theres no snacks around at all i think i can do this. And in future cook less!!

Glad you see I'm not the only one re-starting today! I'm going to keep motivated by taping and watching every weight loss show I possibly can AND putting up pics of just a few years ago when I was my "normal" size.

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS EVERYONE on kicking the Yo-Yo habit and our restart!! :flowerforyou:

I look at it like this... throw it away either thru my body or straight in the trash. It's going down the drain one way or another.
