Eat Healthy And Gain Some Weight

Hello everyone, my name is Fabiola and I am new here. I am on this health journey. I went to the Dr and did some blood work. In the test results, my prealbumin, glucose are lower than the standard range. So the doctor recommends I increase the amount of proteins I eat. I am trying to eat more proteins, more healthy fats and less carb, but it’s kind of challenging because when I choose the food to eat and when I calculate turns out they contain more carbs than protein. How do you do the food intake list? Do I use an app or write?I am starting the food diary list from today. So, today my meal for breakfast is oatmeal, 2boiled eggs, and some fresh blueberries. My goal calorie for each day is 1730. I am not sure how to separate it in each meal so I get my goal amount for each day. Do you have any tips or advice on how to go about doing this? My weight now is 114lbs and I need to gain some weight because I lost weight. I would really appreciate it

Hi Fabiola,
Be careful with just lean proteins and fats when you’re initially trying to gain weight. Remember that those sources of calories have a high metabolic impact during breakdown. You really need complex carbohydrates with those fats to gain. Otherwise you’re burning all the calories you eat during metabolism. Some low GI starches with high quality fats.
Good luck add let us know how you do.0
