I'm 68 years old. I had a gastric bypass, which is only a tool. You have to work it. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT MY FITNESS PAL. I logged every bite, every calorie, every glass of water, weighed once a week. I connected it to a Fitbit, which was free from Medicare. All my steps were logged. I still have 30 to go, and I've hit a plateau for weeks, but I'm fighting against it. But 150 pounds lost!

Well done to you, what fantastic pictures. As a 59-year-old woman with 154 pounds to lose, your post is inspiring. I too find MFP an absolute must-have tool, I log every mouthful, and use the recipe app to modify family favourites into healthy alternatives, and love it! I'm on day 64 and have lost 31lbs so far. For the first time in years, I really believe I can get to my goal weight.6
