I've was on MFP about two years ago. I wasn't really serious about changing my life then. I am now though and it's time to get serious. I would like to lose 100 lbs by my birthday which isn't until July so I feel that's doable. Feel free to add me. I'm looking for all the help and support I can get.

take some time to take a personal accounting. this will help you stay on track for those times when your mind wanders. here's some ideas of what to include in the personal accounting (which should all be written down either on your MFP profile or another accessible place...because you're going to have to read them during the journey):
1. What do I hate about being overweight? (be brutally honest and specific)
2. What do I hope to gain by living a healthier lifestyle? (be specific)
3. Why did I fail in the past? What were the mental setbacks? the physical setbacks?
4. What is my plan for avoiding/overcoming these setbacks? What can I do this time to help me stay on my journey?
5. Is there anything I enjoy about being overweight (other than that its easier)?0
