How do you log exercise videos?

Hi All

I'm trying to figure out the best way to calculate my exercise when I do a workout video that incorporates both cardio and strength-- such as Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. I am new to myfitnesspal, and I noticed that specific workouts (such as these videos) aren't in the database the way so many foods are.

I'm wondering how others have handled exercises like this? I seems I keep defaulting to "aerobics" when I know it's not exactly the same.

Thanks for any help you can offer...

Kristy

I would log it as circuit training.

Or you could use a HRM and input the amount that it gives you.

I do it as circuit too, but when I used to do circuits in gyms it was nothing compared to Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30. But it's good enough

I had the same problem at first (I am also doing some Jillian Michaels workout). I log it as circuit training, since she incorporates strength, cardio, and abs into it.
