Hello Everyone,
I am somewhat new here and I will be starting my first real diet tomorrow! I'm very nervous about sticking to it because it seems pretty strict - it's called The Belly Fat Diet which is really where I need help!!! I love to exercise, but I also love to eat so I just can't seem to lose my weight. Any hints or tricks that you can share with me would be great!!
Thanks!!

A couple of things, some you probably dont want to hear...
Sadly, you cannot spot reduce fat. You can't choose where to lose it from. So if you aim is to reduce belly fat, sadly, the only way to do this is lose fat overall.
Second point i'd make, is dont do any short term "diets". Just make lifestyle changes, which you would be happy with, in theory, to do for the rest of your life. You're far more likely to stick with it long term and lose the weight
Thirdly, if you suddenly go 100% healthy, it'll be shock, and you're far less likely to stick with it. Make small changes initially to get you into the mindset, then if you want to, make more and more and bigger and bigger changes as you get more used to it.

The book Seven Pillars of Health by dr. don colbert is an awesome book! Just stick to "living" foods and not "dead" foods which means eat ALOT of fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats. All fresh stuff. That will help you feel better and make your skin so much better. And dont go nuts on weighing yourself. You will bloat and retain water so dont beat yourself up. Sorry for rambling, I just LOVE this kind of stuff. Can you tell I'm in school for counseling? Haha! Feel free to add me as a friend if you want.0

Diets don't work... but life style changes do! Eating healthy and regular exercise will make you feel good and the results will last forever! Do some good cardio and you will lose fat every where.0

Making small changes make a difference. If you drink reg. soda cut back or quit, cut back or quit fast food, drink lots of water, eat breakfast, eat more often, walk at least 30 mins a day, just to name a few. Its a marathon and not a sprint. Good Luck to you!!0
