It started happening about 2 nights ago after an extended walk i took... My calf muscles started to get tense and burn, so i stopped and packed it in for the night. the next day all i did on the exercise front was walk for 20 or so mins home from a friends house and halfway home they started to hurt again to the point where i was almost hobbling home, once again, i went home put my feet up and relaxed for the night. And today i woke up feeling fine, and half way through moving a buddy out of his house it started happening again...

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what i can do to fix it.

they could be cramping? bananas are good for that!! or maybe you need more salt... i sometimes get cramp from running and blue powerade helps me but note it is high in sugar

For that pain there are two different solutions:

1- What JDNOX told you, eat banana, maybe you have low potasium level now.
2- If banana doesnt help is because is not a problem of potasium but calcium, try to drink more milk and milk products.

THIS IS NOT A PROPER MEDICINE ANSWER, IT IS BASED IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND ARTICLES I READ.

I get calf pain when I've been overworking my legs. I've been barefoot running, and if I do more than 2 miles, I definitely feel it. I usually listen to the pain and take a few days off of ALL jogging/running, although 15 min walks seem ok. I'm not a dr, and this is only what I do, but listen to your body. It hurts for a reason.

Also, I've had good experience with Kinesio tape, so you might check that out.
