Anyone successfully lost weight while breastfeeding and maintained a milk supply? Just curious, I know it can be harder when nursing, just trying to have realistic expectations

Hey, depending on the age of your little one, you should add on additional calories to your usual deficit because bf burns calories so you want to make sure you eat those back so you don’t affect your supply. I cannot recall the exact figure but could be in the region or 300-500 if little one is eating a balanced diet.
Likely more if younger than one year.0 -
Some women eat at estimated maintenance calories, and let the nursing create a bit of calorie deficit.0
