Discrepency in steps

The # of steps shown is way off compared to what my AppleWatch and Health app say. This has been happening for a very long time. For example, MFP shows in my app (both on daily log & dashboard) that my steps are about 4,200 steps. My health app AND Apple Watch say 10,000+. Thoughts to fix? I have tried everything I can think of

We are aware that steps tracked using an Apple device do not match between the Dashboard/Newsfeed and Diary pages. Your step count should display correctly on your Dashboard and Newsfeed pages, but there is a delay in step count syncing to the diary page/calorie adjustment.

We are working on a resolution to the step sync delay and hope to have a fix in place as soon as possible.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause until then. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Is there a resolution to this? Yesterday there was a 4000 step discrepancy between my iphone health app and MFB. MFB said I finished out the day at 4,130 steps and my health app said 8,554 steps based on my watch fitness app. I've synced and re-synced everything multiple times.

    Hi,
Are there any updates on this? I’m curious because if there is a delay, and I go for a late night walk, will some of my steps show up in the next day?

Despite what is says above about the step count being accurate on the dashboard and newsfeed, it still is not accurate anywhere. When can we expect this feature to be fixed? Are there some tricky setting configurations you could help with? I love this app but without being able to set and meet step goals reliably and know how those steps are impacting calories is a big miss. Definitely doesn’t encourage me to upgrade.

August 2024, and again my steps are about 4,000 behind as well. One reason I decided to pay for this app was to have everything in one place and it’s not working right.

I have just re-signed up for this app after using an alternate for a year. I like this app because the food scanning and food catalogue is better, but I too am quite annoyed by the lack of correct data syncing with Apple. In fact, the whole section where you give rights to sync to Apple health isn’t working properly. Step up the game MFP, you have fans but you will lose them if you don’t sort these things out as it’s a competitive marketplace out there!
