First weekend wasn't good :(

Hello all,
I just completed my first week of a low calorie diet and increased physical activity. I started up because I'm tired of all the weight I've gained from my last two children. I got pregnant with the 3rd before losing weight from the 2nd. I'm at the exact weight I was when I had my 17 month old. Any who, my problem was this weekend. Picking up food and eating random stuff, because it's what we do on the weekend with an active family of three kids. I feel like giving up, but I know it's about commitment. I stayed within my calorie range today and tomorrow I plan on doing the same and walking my mile and half after work.
I really hope I can find the self discipline and motivation tomorrow...

I could have wrote your story 9 months ago. I also have 3 kids & understand the weekend snack attacks. You CAN do this! If I did it, anyone can! Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:0

Hola, welcome. You can do this, just take it one day at a time.
I understand the weekend snacking, I have 3 teenagers who are always snacking on something.:sad:0 -
I don't have kids, but I get active in the spring.....and well all my friends eat like teenagers and basically get me in trouble. So I started packing my own snacks.....individually wrapped baby carrots (2 bags) 2 clementines, 2 plums, some crackers, some lunch meat...you get the picture. That way when everyone else is eating choco chip cookies I can grab a yummy plum, when they are grabbing a burger I am having crackers with cheese and lunch meat....you get the picture. I started noticing that by bringing snacks, they actually lick their chops when I pull out my cutie and start peeling off its citrussy skin......so now I bring enough for everyone....just in case :P
Hang in there, this is a 1 day at a time routine. Pretty soon you will be doing it as second nature and this last weekend will be a memory.
