Point me in the right direction?

Hi! I started using MFP May 1 and by the beginning of June I had lost 18 pounds. But then from June to mid-August I didn't lose a thing and I was starting to gain weight. I got extremely discouraged. I had tried changing my calorie intake goals, added more cardio, less cardio, tried cutting carbs, etc. and I didn't see a difference. So I kind of gave up because I already have so much on my plate and I cannot see having the stress of it if it's not doing me any good. My husband thinks I'm too stressed out and that counteracts my efforts - who knows. I have a lot going on as a mom of 3, a home daycare plus a full time student, my kids play football.. etc. etc. etc. Anyway, I'm not trying to whine lol I just need some direction because I need to get back on track but some positive results would be great to see...

I know it's difficult but just keep going! I lost over 25 pounds with WW and in 3 short months, gained 16 back. I've joined MFP with some friends and we are having a sort of contest. It's only been a few days but with support, it helps. Do you have a friend you could partner with? If not, this is a great place to get some on-line friends for support.0

Make sure you're netting at least 1200 calories per day. Meaning, if you eat 1200 calories and then burn 200 calories exercising, eat those 200 calories also. That will net you 1200.
Keep exercising too. Exercising builds muscle, muscle burns more calories. Very important.
Stress can cause you problems during weight loss. Your husband is right. Take it a day at a time.
