I was going to have a two week break from thinking about losing weight, but after four days, I feel ready to have another whack at it.25

I had some treats last night because I was watching a movie, and then today I went for a long walk with no quick exit and I started feeling bad pain in my mid section and thighs and I realised my body can't tolerate as much junk food. I think that's a win?20

@Ll0ydD0bler Love your name, guessing kickboxing is next for you!
I am back to tracking this week after derailing for a few weeks and fearing that I wouldn't get my head back in the game to want to focus on this again. Lost some ground but not all. Progress is not linear and it will never be.14 -
NSV: I quit drinking alcohol last week, woohoo!
All those saved calories are a bonus, too, lol. ☺31 -

I got up and walked the puppy this morning. It wasn't a very long walk; she's a little thing yet and still in training. But I got up despite feeling tired and cold and did it anyway.25

My Aunty made me eat chicken burgers for dinner last night, I could only eat one and a half.14

My best NSV lately was today. I hiked 8.5km with my husband. I didn’t have to stop for a break once!25

I made pancakes, and tracked it! Usually I feel like if I have pancakes, I can't track it and it will be thousands of calories, but I weighed all the ingrediants and made a custom recipe, and then weighed each pancake. I had a banana, maple syrup and bacon. It ended up being 800 calories, so I've managed to stay within my limits this morning.
I also went for a walk that I don't feel that comfortable doing. It was actually my dog that wanted to come home and end the walk, not me! I am finding that if I don't walk, I start to miss it. In the olden days, we would take the dog for a walk or a swim and set a timer, so we could come home as soon as possible. We had to stay out for at least half an hour and I would get really annoyed waiting for the timer to end. Now, I could probably go out for a few hours and be perfectly happy.22 -
So the scales haven’t really moved much in the last two weeks BUT I can notice that the tummy flab is less solid- like it’s actually quite soft and squishy…. I KNOW changes are happening on the inside of my body and I’m going to carry on staying on track and I know eventually it will release the weight it’s holding onto at the moment. As I’ve lost the majority of the weight I had set myself these last few lbs are more stubborn to lose but I know if I stick to it I’ll get the end result I want.22

I have recently started feeling cold again. For the past 4 years at least, I have been hot all the time. because of the super-insulating fat layer all over my body. I never used to even hardly wear a coat in winter, and almost always wore only short sleeves-even in winter. . Now I am enjoying wearing sweaters and long sleeves indoors, and actually have to wear a coat outside. Bonus NSV: My 3X raincoat is really really too big now! (Could not zip it up last year). Happy Dance 🕺🏿23

10 November 2023 will the 248th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
On that day for the first time in Thirty Eight (38!) years I will wear my Winter Alfa Uniform trousers.
I tried them on today and they fit like they were tailored for me; which they were 40 years ago.
The Winter wool Trousers and a Long Sleeve Shirt and Tie are all that is left of my old USMC uniform.
With the help of MFP over the last 2000+ days I have sustainably lost 157lbs exactly Half of what I started at (315lbs).56 -

I pulled a couple more pieces out of my old box of "clothes that no longer fit me." They're going in the wash first, but I can't wait to wear them again. Moving from plus size back into regular sizes!26

Most of my pant are either too big now or have been wearing out so I bought a new pair of trousers from somewhere that doesn't have a changing room, telling myself that if they didn fit it was fine because they would in a few weeks.
Not only did they fit, they fit comfortably with a little room to spare. So now I'm back into a UK size 14, down from somewhere between an 18 and a 20. I am so happy right now.28 -
Wearing my wedding ring again for the first time in 4 years! It fits comfortably, doesn’t feel like it’s cutting off the circulation. Also, current size of underwear starting to sag- will need to buy smaller size soon 😊22

I've got a new one, I put my socks on without sitting down today! Was able to stand on one leg and pick my other foot up high enough and maintain balance. I haven't done that in DECADES.28
