I pulled a couple more pieces out of my old box of "clothes that no longer fit me." They're going in the wash first, but I can't wait to wear them again. Moving from plus size back into regular sizes!26

Most of my pant are either too big now or have been wearing out so I bought a new pair of trousers from somewhere that doesn't have a changing room, telling myself that if they didn fit it was fine because they would in a few weeks.
Not only did they fit, they fit comfortably with a little room to spare. So now I'm back into a UK size 14, down from somewhere between an 18 and a 20. I am so happy right now.28 -
Wearing my wedding ring again for the first time in 4 years! It fits comfortably, doesn’t feel like it’s cutting off the circulation. Also, current size of underwear starting to sag- will need to buy smaller size soon 😊22

I've got a new one, I put my socks on without sitting down today! Was able to stand on one leg and pick my other foot up high enough and maintain balance. I haven't done that in DECADES.28

The doctor told me that by losing weight I cured myself from inter cranial hypertension!27

I’m down another bra size. That’s four sizes down since June 😎
And I finished an entire session of 6-days-a-week water aerobics classes. Wasn’t sure I would be able to complete all the classes, because last session I “only” took 4/week. But I did it! Now enjoying a rest week before I do it again.
I’m down another bathing suit size as well. Just in time, because my old ones were falling apart. The new one is the exact same style, but it fits and looks so much better🩱
I also got a comment the other day from a friend who looked me up and down and said, you look great, are you losing weight?! Which was hilarious to me because I’ve lost close to a fifth of my total body weight now and she has seen me several times since I started 🤪 Maybe it’s the new bra 🤔22 -
a couple NSV's as I've decided enough (again)
1) I weighed and measured this weekend. ugly numbers and everything is bigger then it was but recorded all the same.
2) logged my breakfast and lunch. first time in forever. Lunch was unweighed leftovers, so guesstimate at best but it still counts.
3) the other day my foot fell asleep, why is this a NSV? After a knee strain this summer, I couldn't tuck that foot under my leg without pain in my knee. I sat like that without realizing. so my knee is healed and I have full ROM again18 -
I'm at my lowest weight in years, and I haven't been trying to lose weight in the last week or two, so I'm not sure what is going on?12

I've been eating a lot of sugar. We haven't had many groceries, so I haven't been having the usual things we eat, and we haven't had much milk. My weight was around 110, and now it's 107.2kg which is 300g less than it was. I have been eating differently, so if I had been tracking, maybe there would have been a deficit. I'm going to a dietitian tomorrow.7 -
Today my dentist, whom I haven't seen since before I started losing weight, gave me a funny look and said, you've changed your hair haven't you? Your face looks different.
... I guess it wasn't the bra, after all?23 -

LOL yes, people will notice the change, but sometimes it takes them a while to realize exactly what it is. Or they’re treading lightly because they’re afraid to comment on your weight.
People have asked me if I changed my hair color/style, did my makeup differently, or am wearing new clothes. Yesterday my coworker boldly said, “wow, you’re getting skinny!”10 -
Despite having lost 33 lbs, I haven’t had many people notice a difference (which is so weird because I’m 5ft3in and so one would think it was noticeable!)
One of my brothers, who is a dear, saw me for the first time in a month. And because he’s too sweet to comment on weight, he said “wow- you look healthy, like you’re taking good care of yourself!” To me, this meant that he noticed. And that felt so good.25 -

I love the way he put his comment. Sometimes you need to be careful commenting on someone's weight, but telling them that they look healthy? Awesome compliment!15 -
I've sprouted alien arms. I was lying in bed this morning and didn't recognize the forearms that were in front of me as belonging to me... they look weirdly thin and long now, with a bone protruding where previously there was padding Like someone else's arms. I realized that I never thought of myself as someone who could have slender arms, isn't that something. I guess I do now!
I love all your comments about other people's feedback. About ten years ago, which was the last time I lost a large amount of weight, I was getting very direct comments all the time from all kinds of people -- family, friends, semi-strangers. This time around it's like nobody wants to say anything! I wonder if social conventions have changed or if my attitude has. @mollypw1994 I got basically no comments at all until I was about 40 lbs. down. I'm the same height as you. Maybe you'll start drawing more attention soon, too?17 -
My boobs are getting pretty small and I definitely need a new bra. I still have a fair amount of weight to lose, so I'm being cheap at the moment and just making do.13

My recent NSV was yesterday. I put on a fun pair of grey jeans that I hadn’t worn in while. They had been too snug. I wore them all day yesterday, and had to keep pulling them up, as they felt like they were falling off. End of the day, I took them off WITHOUT UNBUTTONING/unzipping them. They sort of just slid off of me. It was awesome!
Guess they’re going in the Salvation Army pile!26 -
I’m out on a walk, wearing my size 16 jeans! Three months of work and 24lbs lost since I first got to wear my size 18’s. They are so baggy now and I feel great finally having jeans that fit me right again 😎19

My NSV is that I’ve had several pictures taken of myself in the last few days, and in some of them I actually look fit. Most of my life I would try to hide my body in pictures and only take them from the neck up, but I’m finding myself wanting to show off my cute boots and new jeans. I am starting to prefer full-body photos. That is totally crazypants!
Also I saw Dolly Parton in her Cowboys cheerleading outfit, and it gives me great hope for my elderly years. That woman is a total legend. I’m sure I won’t ever be scantily clad onstage, but I plan to keep rockin the athleticism and staying young at heart forever.21 -
I went Christmas shopping today with my daughter - about three hours of walking around a large shopping centre. Afterwards, it hit me that we only sat down once in that time for about 20 minutes to have lunch. I didn't feel tired or achey or anything. All the walking I have done over the past few months is starting to pay off in ways I hadn't even thought about.23
