Check out Jorge Cruise's Belly Fat Cure. Its lower carb, but not super low and there's some awesome recipe/food swaps!!
you can go to his site, or grab the book (pretty cheap book $15 or so I think) at a bookstore, target or costco.0 -
that's a good question  and I would like to know also. so far I just try to cut down on them by taking 1/2 the bread off a samwhich or add vegg's that are low in starch. but it is hard because I love bread, pasta and patotoes. I will be checking back to see if anyone else has any ideals. let me know if you hear any thing ok!0

You don't enjoy meats, cheeses, and nuts?0

Check out the "Mark's Daily Apple" website...great info on insulin production and how it can keep you from losing weight no matter how much you exercise and count calories. For some of us, it is all about the carbs.0

Unless you don't like carbs, you don't need to limit them to lose weight or to be healthy. Fruits and vegetables are loaded with carbs. Potatoes, legumes and whole grains have a lot of carbohydrates and are nutrient dense and good for you. Processed or sugary food like white flour, cookies, and packaged items, which can also be high in carbs, are bad for you. Limit (or completely cut out) these types of carbs and don't worry about the others, especially those starchy vegetables, which often get a bad rap.0

I do like meats , cheeses and nuts ,but I also love to have bread with it and patotes and corn and ofcourse anything with cheese, I don't know about you Norm. but I was hoping for some hits on how to fix meals with less carbs. I will check out the web site . Thanks0 -
I really enjoy a good steak and cheese and nuts. But isn't the fat content a little too much?0

Unless you're going over daily caloric total, I think fat's bad reputation is a little undeserved. Sirloin is fairly lean, and as long as the FDA doesn't require you to spell "cheese" as "Cheeze" because it isn't technically cheese at all, I think cheese is fine too.0 -

Limit bread and pasta and instead eat quinoa, brown rice, bulgar wheat (if you don't have gluten problems), etc. as your grains. For sandwiches use low carb wraps. Just these changes can make a huge dent in your carb numbers.0 -

Look for lean steaks. Milk fat is not healthy so it's best to limit that, but reduced fat (not fat free - too many additives) cheese is fine in moderation. Nuts contain good healthy fats so as long as you have the calories, munch away.0
