Dealing with hunger

I am having real problems dealing with hunger pains, and I know this may sound like something of an excuse but it sometimes leads to migraines and nausea. Does anyone here have any good hints and tips of how to stave these pains?

I drink lots of water and that definitely helps. Also high protein snacks keep me feeling full longer.0

If you're that hungry, eat something. I am a low-carber and can't remember the last time I actually had a hunger pang. I do not miss it.0

eat! you shouldn't be hungry! try eating more fibre and protein to keep you full or eat more frequently throughout the day0

Protein, protein, protein. If you have at least 30grams of protein in the morning (within 30 mins of waking up) then eat a good breakfast it should help keep you full until lunch. Eat a protein rich lunch and dinner have a smart snack. Also drinks lots of water.0

water helps me too, or tea.
but if it's proper hunger pangs then you probably need to eat.

smaller meals for frequently. I aim for 5-6 small meals a day. And protein with as many of those as you can (nuts, peanut butter, cheese, dairy, meat, etc.) Then also drinking lots of water.0

I have been using peppermint tea, no sugar of course. But if you have some honey to add then maybe that would even give you a small caloric boast. The mint really helps with the nausea. I drink it over ice....0

Eat when you're hungry, don't starve yourself. I snack on almonds (plain) and it's true what everyone says, drink lots of water. I also need to work on that.0

Liquids, cold and hot. Mini meals during the day until you adjust. Healthy foods that include a little more fiber.0

Without seeing your diary, I can't say what the cause is.
1) Making sure you get enough calories is a start. Make sure you're getting at least the minimum.
2) Drink plenty of water. Dehydration can make you feel nauseous and give you a headache.
3) Make sure you're getting enough carbs. Low blood sugar can do the same thing.
4) If you've stopped drinking caffienated beverages, or have been cutting back in the last few weeks, it could be caffiene withdrawl.
If none of that works, go see your doctor.0 -
water, water, water, water...oh, and more water....
i am also a low-carber and i do not get hungerpains anymore...
i try not to eat any carbs in the mornings, or before about 1pm when i have lunch since i notice that when i do i just want to eat everything that i lay my hands on...
but if you are hungry then eat...and dont wait to be starving where its hard to use self control...
try celery sticks with a little peanut butter, Fiber One 90 calorie bars are good, or some nuts without salt...0
