Heyy! I'm looking for some friends that are in a similar boat as I am. Post here and/or send me a quick message if you opt to friend-request me :smile: I'm open to all kinds of friends, but at this time I'm specifically looking for...

- university/college students (so we can chat/commiserate about exams!)
- athletic, fitness-oriented (so we can compare routines, chat about fitness!)
- eating decently (we ALL mess up, but McD's 4x a week isn't gonna work!)
- only a bit more to lose (say, 30lbs or less?)
- active MFP user (sign in every day!)
- open personality (ie, pictures/diary open to friends!)
- POSITIVE personality! Soooo sick of party poopers, lol.

Things that don't matter: age, gender, religion, marital status :flowerforyou:

    Ahhh the student lifestyle, love it but caused me to put so much weight on over the last few years . . . feel free to add me. Even though I'm doing a postgrad now.

    I am a 2nd year undergraduate student of violin from London. Got 19lb to lose and I workout properly for 40-50 minutes a day plus walking in and out of college at least daily (40 minutes). More friends in a similar situation would be great :)

    Hi,

    I'm a 1st year undergrad student, (mature in years not in outlook!), go to the gym or cycle every day, 12 lb left to lose.

    Hi :) That sounds like me too. I'm in the last year of my post grad degree and trying to lose another 10-15lbs at least by the end of my thesis hand in (September). I love cooking and eating healthily and experimenting with different exercise routines and food combinations. It would be great to have someone to share ideas with etc :)

    I'm going to be a college sophomore in the fall and I have about 11-15 more pounds to lose to be at goal weight!

    I'll be a lot more active when I get back up to college the end of august because I can use the community gym there for a small fee per semester - built into our tuition costs.. but yeah! Right now I'm a couple days away from finishing the second level of the 30 day shred!
  • That's definitely me!! Going into my 5th year of university in Psychology...going to be an uber stressful year (doing my thesis :S)...I've got about 10 pounds left to lose!

    me too! :-) i have just completed my second year undergrad, am enjoying the summer before heading back for my third and final year in sept. i have about ten pounds to loose and they wont budge! :-( i workout between 3-6 days a week (depending on life getting in the way etc) and like to think i eat healthy, i actually went processed foods free for 3 weeks and it was brilliant but somewhat expensive, hence it stopped, however i feel i will make it a regular occurance, maybe next time a student loan instalment comes thru? lol.

    I fit all except the 'just a little left to lose' (I have more than 50lbs to lose) But other than that I'm logging in each day, eating pretty healthy and I workout out each day. Also I'm about to enter my 3rd year of my degree.

    Like everyone else I am too all of those things. I attend a city college right now majoring in Human Services with 80 pounds to lose until I hit my goal weight. Probably one of the most optimistic people on here besides my girl Beauty (= and attend the gym regularly. Feel free to add :D

    23 year old university student... lost 30 lbs so far, but wanting to lose a bit more... total exercise junkie... love to eat healthy... no mc donald's for me... loving life and wanting to share similar experiences because I haven't had many people to chat with on here since I joined.
