Fruit Smoothies =)
Hello guys! Sometimes for dinner i'm not all that hungry! But I need to eat something because I am about to go for a run! So I make a fruit smoothie!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Dannon Light and Fit yogurt
1/4 cup of milk (your preference on what kind)
1 Banana cut up
1/2 cup of straberries cut up
1/4 cup of small blueberrys
The first thing I do is cut up my banana and my strawberies. I never put sugar in my smoothies. If you want sugar, I suggest splenda. Its 0 calories 0 fat and just about 0 the whole ways down and it doesn't contain aspertame so no headaches! Smoothies are plain and simple. Just put all of it in the blender and mix it until smooth. How simple can it get!?!?
Sometime if you want a colder smoothie you can substitute the yogurt for low fat or even fat free frozen yogurt. It's about 40 calories more and the sugar and fat goes up as well. Sometimes I get the chocolate one and just use bananas and boy is it amazing!
Thanks!

This a lot of times is my breakfast as well.

I use a low cal juice and skip the milk and add spinach and hemp hearts. I was very weary of spinach at first but its really tasteless (I use a cup full)

I freeze my fruit for a frozen smoothie! that way no need to add any more calories or anything
Mine usually is

1/2 cup of frozen tripple berries (blueberries, blackberries and Rasberries)
and
1/2 frozen banana
Though I am thinking about adding spinach.0 -
