Hi all. I am 53, Canadian & intend to lose 50-60 pounds over the next year. I am an emotional eater without a lot on my plate (no pun intended)…
It won’t be easy, but I feel crappy. Tired, Sore yada yada yada…. Not super motivated by my appearance, which used to light a fire under my butt in the past.
Physical and improved mental health will be my priorities. Tend to be exceptionally hard on myself - an all or nothing type. So I will be working on that also.
Humorous, love my kids, friends pets etc …. If you can relate and hope to make a life style change - add me as a friend 😊

I'm 71 and trying to lose 50+ pounds once and for all!! I've yo-yo dieted my whole life, and am an evening snacker. It's harder to carry the extra weight now and I'm constantly tired. Looking forward to some new friends & some motivation. Happy New Year all!!1

I am a 52 year old Australian. I have around 22kg / 50 pounds to lose.
I have had some scary health stuff going on over the post two years, so followed up lock down with a desk by the fridge, with a period of excessive eating. I love to walk everywhere but have just been eating way too much.
I have been discharged by all my medical specialists so no longer have that distraction as an excuse. I plan to track everything I eat in 2024 and get back to a better BMI.
Good luck with your journey.3 -

My name is Jane, I live in North Carolina. I will be 65 in 2 days and I could copy, paste your post.
Emotional eating, fatigue, feeling crappie, etc.
The worst is being hard on myself tripping down guilty lane. Would love to lose 50+ lbs. this year.0 -
